Hemang Shah has spent more than 30 years in enterprise technology, the last ten building Logic V Inc. from the ground up. He started on the vendor side, seeing firsthand how large organizations run technology, before deciding there was room for something different: a firm built for organizations too complex for a generalist, but too specific to disappear inside a giant provider.
That instinct to solve what isn’t being solved has shaped Logic V ever since. Alongside its managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity and communications work, Hemang has led the development of technologies born from real-world problems, including VoiceIQ, a voice analytics platform for Microsoft Teams, and Beacon, an emergency communications platform built for the oil and gas sector.
Despite the CEO title, he remains a hands-on technologist. He’s still close to the architecture, still testing new technologies, and still likely to be in the room when a client’s problem gets genuinely hard.
“The technology is never really the hard part,” Hemang says. “The hard part is building something a client can trust with a problem they haven’t figured out how to explain yet.”
An active member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Hemang approaches Logic V with a builder’s mindset: stay curious, understand the problem deeply, and never accept “that’s how it’s always been done” as a particularly good reason for doing anything.
